I think I heard several years ago that an artist was building this as his studio. he must have to decided to sell because it is owned by a restaurant now for parties, marriage, etc

Well, when he ran out of paint and customers the best thing is to cut one's losses and try something else, or someplace else. I bet the expensive tables are in the tower! It gives a nice view. Keep up the good work! :-)
