Description

I had fun to make up a story with this picture ****************************** Report written on a small notebook found around the Rock Cassepot, Forest of Fontainebleau, with a modest camera, where a single photo was loaded. ____________________ "That day I was hiking in the Forest of Fontainebleau. It had rained and snowed the previous days and sandy soil made it possible not to be bothered by the mud. I had just got off the train at the « Halte en forêt » when I heard a rustle behind me. Believing in the presence of a deer, I had the presence of mind to turn around and take a picture. [Above] It was not a deer, but silhouettes that disappeared on a path perpendicular to mine, and provoked in my mind a deep anxiety. My neighbor often tells me: « Sometimes you have to fall at the right time. » That’s what happened to me when I saw two hundred meters away, the same silhouettes pass on the path I was going to take to the right. I stumbled in surprise, but was it at the right moment? The small silent group was going to be in front of me. But..when I turned right, there was nobody. I almost forgot this disturbing sight on arriving at the Tower Dénecourt, before the Rock Cassepot. I drank a coffee on a bench that I had been cleared of snow, watching the families go up and down, throwing snowballs at them. As I walked towards the Rock Cassepot, I saw them again, a hundred meters ahead of me. I would have preferred to deal with rogues in a suit, at least I would have been in known territory. Romain Gary says in Gros-Câlin: « Put it all in writing, without hiding anything, because nothing is more good than experience and direct observation. « That’s what I did, but it did not calm my anxieties. One moment, the group was no longer visible at the bend of a rock. I was lost, which forced me to consult my map to take a parallel path. The group was always in front of me. When I arrived breathless to the point of view of the Rock Cassepot – nobody was there – the snow fell again, forming a light fog. I put down my bag and, looking up, I saw them around me, in a perfect circle …" __________________ The text stops there.

I was thinking too, to a group of people of a secret society. All a story to tell.

Along the lines of Tara's comment, I can easily see this as a still from a film. A beautiful scene & composition with an air of mystery to it...
