There's a similar formation at Petit Jean in Arkansas called "turtle rocks" that's pretty neat. Don't know if you saw it when you were there. There's also "elephant rocks" in southern Missouri, and all of these formations seem to be made of that same pink granite. It seems very prevalent in the Ozark areas.
