Really nice lighting. Nice image. Just a little bit of history. The P40 Warhawk you used as your escort plane was an out of date plane (the tail was wood and canvas) that was only used at the beginning of WW2. Looks like you used one with the Flying Tiger markings. They were only used in China by volunteers, before the US was in the war. B-17s were used later in the war in Europe, at that time the P40s had been replaced. One more thing. Escort planes were only used to the target, not coming back. The B-17s were on their own to get back if they could. Just so you know.

All historical critiquing aside, this is really a wonderfully orchestrated image and final render!!! My dad use to fly B-17s and he'd tell you that they were a "tank". I've seen photos of planes shot up worse than this one, and still made it back to England in one piece!!!

could be the pacific war. many obsolete designs were used there almost the forgotten part of the war equipment wise
