That navel needed to be exposed, by lifting her T-shirt, then to be open with her finger, before inserting the connector of the cable into it. That cable has the wiring for recharging her batteries, and the tubes for exchanging her body perfusion oil with the re-filtered oil that is contained in a reservoir under her mattress.
