Everyone in my family assumed that the dragon she caught was a baby, and that the mother would soon be along to reclaim it. I suddenly thought - what if the dragon is the mama, and not a boy dragon at all? Awfully hard to sex a dragon (especially one that is trying to claw your face off and escape)... heck, I still mis-sex our bunnies on occasion!
I think this must be a little while down the road, so to speak. The mama isn't trying to escape, having realized that maybe all the free food would be good for her little clutch, and the little critter that snatched isn't all that bad.

Awesome! (I didn't get the message that you'd had a new one up.) You have to wonder when mama goes and drops the babies on the adult's doorstep though... you know like when the cat has kittens under the porch and brings them to the humans to check out once they are old enough.... and suddenly you have a bunch of kittens bouncing off the walls of the house.
