It was the creature that had re-appered in front of us and was blocking the path forward, It kept slowly moving towards us and crouching down, Its movements were as though it wanted to get close to us without frightening us, We were too frightened to move because we had seen first hand the damage this creature had caused to the bandits the night before, It is a killing machine, Very strong and powerful and very fast in its movement. We were frozen to the one spot and the creature had made its way slowly to be right next to us and then Kiiko did something that was a total surprise and shock to me, She slowly climbed onto the creatures back, All I could do was cover my mouth and gasp, But the creature remained calm and allowed Kiiko to position herself on its back, Now I need to summon all my courage and approach the creature and climb onto its back also. The speed at which the creature can move will get us to the small village in a few hours, Much faster than the fews days it would take us by foot and without any water the faster we can move across the hot desert the better. to be continued.
