My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

A lovely capture of this fabulous colorful bus. It does bring back so many memories so thank you. Wouldn't it be great if all vehicles were painted in bright colors I am sure it would be a happier world. We have a few brighter cars now but most are still black, white or grey. 😀

“I said, now I've got my Magic Bus (too much, Magic Bus) I said, now I've got my Magic Bus (too much, Magic Bus) I drive my baby every way (too much, Magic Bus) Each time I go a different way (too much, Magic Bus)
I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it
Every day you'll see the dust (too much, Magic Bus) As I drive my baby in my Magic Bus (too much, Magic Bus)”

Oh yeah, this definitely brings back memories. Seeing Santana play at the Concord, California armory before he was famous. Spending nights at the Carousel Ballroom in San Francisco when Janis Joplin was still lead singer for Big Brother and the Holding Company. Great memories. We all felt so optimistic then. The kids that marched the other day give me hope that maybe some of that activism is coming back.

Memories of a not so misspent youth!
We all felt so safe then. Today maybe kids need to take drugs to blockout the fear.
This is a real work of art, and I love the painted tyres!

Well, since wysiwyg beat me to the Who's song, I'll just say... FAR OUT!! 😁 Those were the days... Or maybe it was 'daze...'
Great find and capture, Tara!

Nice shot, Tara! Quite an acid art on the bus. Welcome back the 650-70s!

An acid flashback inducing image. I zeroed in on the tires, which I don't think I've ever seen painted before...

Love that 70's atmosphere

Well this just blows my mind. I remember things like this but I was way too young to be a part of it when it was at its zenith.
Love all those colours, I am Sagittarius after all even if it is the age of Aquarius. And it still is the age of Aquarius.
