Description

From the Captain's Log of Horatio Robert Nickett: It's been 3 weeks since we've seen any land and now we have come across a strange and frightening sight. My ship's cabin boy says it's the northern lights, but we who sail the oceans of this world know better. It is the Guardian, protector of what lies beyond, though no one is quite sure what that is, since no ship has ever returned to tell the tale. I am hesitant about proceeding on, but fascinated at the same time. The men are mumbling their dismay at my quest, and I've even heard talk of mutiny, but I cannot let that bother me. And yet I do. Maybe I should turn back, maybe I... The diary was found floating in the lagoon, but the ship had vanished forever taking with it man's hope of knowing who or what the Guardian is... Vue D'Esprit 4 This image was done in pure Vue without postwork (except the frame, text and signature). I plan to submit it to the e-on pic of the day. The ghost is not drawn onto a cube or plane, but actually came out that way using settings for volumetric fuzz on a cube. After it did, I then shaped the picture around it. Wow.. I love this because of the two moons looking like eyes, which I'm assuming is the intention. Beautiful colors also. I love the use of colors.
