LOL yeah we do have the most venomous snakes, sharks and crocs etc! But the reality is, 99.9999% of the time they will hear you coming and get out of your way. No one I've ever met has EVER been hurt or attacked by any of them....EVER. It's soooooooooo RARE it's like getting struck by lightening! Meanwhile thousands die on the roads and millions of sharks die horribly for shark fin soup and no one notices. My point is that to find a poisonous snake or a Great White shark or a Saltwater croc, you have to seriously go out of your way for days in the hope of maybe seeing something! The media blows it totally out of proportion. Andrew.

love the colour in those rocks. I'm back in business after a three year break. Wouldn't be Hanging Rock by any chance ?

Very nice capture.
For experienced climbers a climbing tour there is certainly very nice.

But what about the sheila's mate?

I love it and I love the amount of lichen everywhere! I also read your comment on dangerous animals and reptiles and wholeheartedly agree. It is the same with African wild animals and reptiles - it you as a human is just sensible, the chances of being hurt by them is minuscule!

Great capture Andrew! Looks like some areas in Arizona!

media? blarney 100%. very rugged landscape. my son came close to dying after being bit my a young copperhead. if he had been by his self it could have been fatal. 15 days or so in the hospital when anti venom 2-3 times

Glad he's OK. He was extremely unlucky to get a bite. It's EXTREMELY rare. In my 48 years I've never encountered anyone has been bitten and I travel LOTS! Stay away from the pointy end of aussie snakes! Was his bite from an American Copperhead or an Australian?
