Description

My friends, Dan & Tana, at the very colorful mandala garden at the Tashi Choling Center for Buddhist Studies. The cylindrically-shaped objects along the sides are prayer wheels, which we were encouraged to walk around and spin. Directly above them (not visible in this photo) is a 35-foot high statue of Vajrasattva, known as the Buddha of Primordial Purity, dedicated to purification of negativity. The statue was mostly covered with netting, so it was difficult to get a good photo of it... Please zoom.
