Description
Château Saint-Clair is an old fortified castle located near the Chaume jetty, in Les Sables d'Olonne in the Vendée. The most famous element of this castle is the Arundel tower, which supports the Chaume lighthouse. It was built in the present state around the XIV-XV centuries by the princes of Talmont, but the fortress is at the base older, it would date from the 13th century.
