Description
The prison's roof etc was devastated by a bushfire in 1895. The bottom 2 floors were solitary confinement cells, the 3rd floor was where they ate, and the top floor was a general dormitory for less violent inmates. Solitary confinement cell below.

would have been terrifying to be there. so many teens from wealthy families gets a slap on the wrist, but yet if someone with little means would do the same crime to the wealthy family, they would make sure the person would be in jail for a long time. it is so hard to believe that people here get "lost in the system" spending many more years than they ever was sentenced for, and probably for a crime they did not do
