Hello! My name is Teri and I've been around for over 69 years in various forms. I am happily married (51 years!), have two daughters and four grandchildren.
I discovered Poser 2 many years ago but didn't do much with it. In 2006 I found a copy of Poser 4 and got interested again. I was working in Poser 10 before I switched to Daz Studio in late 2017. I'm gradually getting the hang of most of it.
When not playing on the computer, I help my husband with his start-up Bio Tech business, refinish furniture, knit, crochet, and read. We grab our grandchildren every chance we get and delight in their antics.
Discovering this community has been a great source of fun and support in trying times.I am amazed at the level of talent I see in both the gallery and the products that are offered. It baffles me how little points on a screen can turn into people or trees and move. I'll always be blond I guess!
Thanks for looking.

Windigo
A favorite grandson delivering the eulogy at his wine loving grandmothers memorial service. That's her in the metal box by the flowers she loved to grow. :)
A super render of this character, very well done!

Marvellou render - and a great interpretation by Windigo!
Faemike55
interesting interpretation by Windigo. I envision him as a used-car salesman-turned Evangelical minister wondering how to get more money from his 'flock' who are just gullible enough to be sheared by him.
cool work

I can see all those things you mentioned or a recovering alcoholic that is about to fall off the wagon and is praying for divine help? Excellent image by any measure! Bravo!

I luvved this image when you posted it because, as you suggest, this guy could be any number of personalities. I can see what you suggested, but because of his open expression, he strikes me as someone either seeking something/someone, or out-and-out pining for them. Still, he does have a look like he's trying to sell us something, lol. A helluva con man, because he looks like this deep, sincere soul; so, if he's a conman, he's using his sincere look to hook customers. This is a terrific character study. You got a lot of possibilities in this guy's expression and pose (with his hands in that praying position---perfect for a preacher). When I was younger, playing jazz and such in clubs, I was sent to a PR guy in NYC, and this dude turned sincerity into an art form. He pointed at me when I entered the door like I were god incarnate (just propping me up so I'd use his services), he told me to sit as if I'd just come from 40 days and nights in the desert, he said "your music---it made me cry" (he'd heard 1 song from a basement tape submitted to him by a friend---not a good recording!), and then he proceeded to draw small and large circles in the air, telling me that the small circle was "you, now," while the big circle was "you, in one year": Then he said, "if you're not that circle? your money back---hey dude: If I'm lyin', I'm dyin'..." At that point I prayed for a quick death...your character could be that guy in a new york minute. Great characterization, and your light looks like "revelation time," and those lines in the background---either the Brooklyn Bridge just paid a visit, or this man is making stars bend. Great background, Teri, and just enough stuff on the table to suggest he's simple, but really sensitive. Love this piece. (Great clothes too.) Terrific image.
(Oh...and the PR guy? He talked to a painting on his wall! He said: "Tell our musician how good I am at what I do---go ahead!" What I would do to have that on film...)

I see a very sexy con man!
