Interesting and cool picture. Now I have to make up a story. Dunno if it applies but here it goes...

One millenia ago (a real long time) the Star-People came across from the heavens. They came across a bountyful world and found primitives not too different from themselves. Upon the primitives, they did their best to influence them and attempt to plant seeds of greatness. The hope being that they too would wander amongst the stars someday. Years passed, and the Star-people decided to move on. For there were other worlds to explore, and time was of the essence.

Before the Star-people came, the primitives were one tribe and one people. Different leaders came and went. There was bickering and such, but nothing much ever came of it. But when the travelers came from the heavens, the tribes did not understand the science nor the power of the Star-people. Leaders in different areas were picked to represent the tribes amongst the Star-people. Some of them got greedy.

After the Star-people left, the primitive tribe fell apart into four. The Sun-People, the Moon-People, the Sea-People, and the Land-People. To all of them, the place where the Star-People met the ancient tribe was sacred. Over time, they forgot they were once one tribe and therefore one people. Fighting ensued amongst the factions over who was heir to the sacred place. Time erased the meaning and the significance of the Star-people. Years of arguing, fighting, wars and battles happened amongst the four tribes as they reached out to populate their world. It seemed that the four tribes in their quest to dominate one another made the land barren and the seas and sky polluted. The world was changed.

After all this time the Star-people checked the records of their elders past and wondered what became of the primitives. It seemed that by now the primitives would be joining them. So it was time to see the results of the seeds they planted.

When they reached the world, they were horrified. Yes, the people of this world did indeed reach into the heavens. But they made little progress from the bounds of their world. The shock and dismay of the Star-people was that of what happened to the once pristine planet. It was trashed. Their elders attempt to enlighten the natives only separated and divided them. The Star-people had themselves to blame for this mess. They looked for something redeeming. They saw that where they contacted the primitives was still holy to all. Hopefully the tribes would come together there. What they saw was continuous conflict, war, and fighting. It was time for them to clean up... And that's where this story ends.
