Description

Early morning on the beach at Bandon. Please zoom. Not happy at all with the latest UI degradation here at Renderosity. Upload button & notification indicators used to be available right there from the gallery browse page, now we've got to click through to other pages to get to them. Are they purposely trying to drive people away or just thoughtless UI designers? I'm going to hang on for a few days to see if they fix this. If not, I will probably be leaving & find another place to post my photos...

I'm doing the same. Join Ronnie and Dee and jeff and me on Flickr.

This picture is my idea of bliss.

I've been here for 12 years and I reckon every 3/4 years Rendo take a perfectly functioning site and appear to try and wreck it! They change font's, add bright background colours, remove buttons and hide features. Members all then say they are going to leave. Rendo doesn't seem to care because they know the vast majority won't leave. Even if they do, most come back! I'm on Flickr as well, but their functionality isn't perfect either. Their algorithm that decides which photos are 'explore' worthy is woeful. Everyday, a million great photos slide by in favor of multiple shots of lego (example attached) or Barbie dolls. Flickr is too big in IMHO. I'm also on youpic, but there no one leaves comments. Everyone seems to click through every photo (probably just on their phones) and click LIKE on every pic.

That's my whinge for the day! Nice beach above BTW!ScreenHunter_849 Apr. 13 09.32.jpg

A stunning capture beautifully composed. It took me about half an hour yesterday looking for where to go to post a picture, maybe they don't want so many on the site. 😄
