Description
Captured on 10/24/10 at the annual Los Alamitos Wings Wheels and Rotors Expo held in beautiful Los Alamitos, California.
I posted this back in 10/10 but felt it needed another showing due to its extraordinary content. You can see his shadow at the lower right of the shot.
A ZOOM is highly recommended.

Great shot to get his shadow in just the right spot. You need to be a little mad to try these stunts eh! 😀

These guys are amazing, but I have to wonder how many broken bones they get over a lifetime..
Perfect timing on this shot!

Yeah, great timing as others have said; and it's worth re-posting (as you state above)---but not just for the extraordinary content of the shot, but for the shot itself. (I have no problem with people re-posting: Why shouldn't your fans be able to re-visit your work and get more out of it a second time? When people go to galleries and museums, they re-visit works all the time...) Your composition is razor sharp: I can't believe you got this guy with the break in his wheels right over the pointy top of that one and only red 'tent': Of all the tent-tops, you got it over that one. And his posture flows with the flow if the other tent tops---horizontally. And the front wheel dips right into the low space between two tent tops. I mean, action photographers wait a long time for compositions like these. And the ramp flows out with the line of the vendor stands too (with some 'wings' back there, to remind us of the subjects of the show). Terrific action shot: It looks like he's posed there, not moving an inch. The montage that follows this is equally amazing in its timing and composition too, Harry.
