Description
Ah the charm of Paris of the years ' 70.
Still remember that In a humid and foggy warm late afternoon, I was lost in the meanders of the slums of the city (today would be called "the Banlieu "). In a sordid alley I crossed this strange staggering couple, because of the swallowed alcohol, which contended Cheerfully the bottle, while in one corner another couple was flirting passionately! A scene, also given the atmosphere, to say the least surreal that seemed almost out of the pages of a book of Simenon!

Many Thanks Friends !

As you state in your comment to Jean_C, this does feel very 'specific', it has a Parisian feeling. Only certain cities would have this scene. And I do sense some "Maigret" feeling lurking in the shadows. (I've only read a little of Simenon, but I know his famous character...and some of my friends talked about Simenon, years ago...)
You captured a 'gritty' and mysterious urban feeling...as if lovers might appear at every corner. (Consider the lovers on the left stairwell: They are sharing something very intimate, and we'll never know their secrets...we just get a glance into their inner world...)
I love the posture of the drinking man---he's in 'abandon' over that bottle. And Le Chat Noir---perfect name for a place in this neighborhood.
A very moody, very "noir-ish" piece, similar to some scenes of the great 1940s American detective writers, Raymond Chandler and Dashiell Hammett. Moody, mysterious, and well done.

I'd like to imagine someone was singing 'La Vie En Rose' nearby in this scene. To me that song IS France. :)
I can see that a dog and cat aren't getting along very well here. Nice to add in details like these!
