Description

I set about trying to make a new ship, drawing on ideas I had before, but wanting to stretch myself a bit. Not sure I did that latter part much, but this was a fun project for getting my own "wings" back after not doing this kind of thing for so long. I'll admit that while I like the over all look, the thing looks like it wouldn't be very maneuverable. Thus the name. The whole ship was assembled and rendered in Bryce 6.1, textures are a mix of presets and modified presets, and a couple of my own for good measure. The whole thing clocks in at just under 402,000 polygons, so I was kind of pushing Bryce a bit, but still far from the "doom-zone". The starscape in the background was made in Photoshop, as was the nebulae and the planetoid. Thanks for taking a look, I'd almost forgotten how much fun this stuff can be.
