Description

Kubelwagen of Luftwaffe Jagdgeschwader 53, "Pik As" (Ace of Spades). Russian Front 1942. Alain's excellent Kubelwagen model now available in his 3DClassics store. I added snow chains to the wheels on this one and attempted to add light fallen snow to the upper areas of the bodywork and roof and frost to the windows. Thanks for looking. Mike.

Nice touch with the chains and frost, Mike. I doubt that thing had an adequate heater if any. You made it look cold!

Thanks for the comment guys. Bill, I seem to remember the Kubelwagen did have a very basic heater feeding warm air from the aircooled engine but I think it was an "on/off" type controlled by lever and flap. Not very effective.
