Here's the first of what is expected to be a series of mock movie posters. In this case it's for a hypothetical adaptation of Kurt Vonnegut's 1952 novel "Player Piano", which asks the question: what if machines put everyone out of work in the near future? It's a question that's been asked since the very first linen mills and steam engines, but the recent advances in robotics, artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things has also prompted us to ask if this time really is different.
