Description

I imagine many people had the idea to take this display, but after finding out that it is welded to steel beams set in concrete they had second thoughts. on my last trips on I 40/ Route 66, I did not seen the car.

love this shot too. You caught a beautiful light, golden yellow and very bright. And the car is on a beautiful angle, showing off its form as well as its decay. The bends in the grill are wonderful, as are the deep shadows throughout. And a sloping landscape in the background, which seems to bend with the angle of the car...Beautiful shot of an old grand beast. (And yeah, if this is welded to beams, it ain't gonna be easy to yank it out and stick it in one's pocket and take it home for the mantlepiece...)
