I'm at 30 minutes, and I will have to come back for more (incl some current posts), as I'm not supposed to be online too much yet. (And my sister got cancer again, which, though it's not nearly as bad as the last one, will still demand my presence as much as I can give it.) So I'll end with this masterful montage for now. First, I love the original. The light is typical of how you capture powerful angled light, how it devours some of the sky; and the terrific shadows it casts. As well as the near-abstract quality of the benches and shadows and surfaces. It's one of your typical near-abstracts, drawn from your very neighborhood.

The 2d variation has flattened many surfaces, giving an even more abstract treatment; and you've divided the sky into this striking two part thing, with that wonderful diagonal on the upper right. You've also given heavy black outlines to everything, making the tables as abstract as ever. Your variations are often studies of your originals, and this is a perfect example of that.

The last one is very intensified: Light and shadow are now deeply contrasted, and the abstraction takes on a battle between light and dark, and angle upon angle. I love this variation as much as I do the original. And it delves into the inner nature of the original, bringing out is inherent music. Love these 3 pieces, and the original is worthy of an upload by itself. I'll be back for more, Harry: You've posted all kinds of riches in the recent past, and I'll come back for more before I step down again...but I've seen everything, and if I had enough time and energy, I could give equal time to them all. Terrific work all around.
