Maybe you can add some boats to the river;a bridge crossing it,or a hill with another tower near the horizon...Mach ma ,dat wird schon wat!:-)

Wonderful scene!!! Just a suggestion, but may be a little whitewater, a few rocks may give you that look of a stream and a direction of flow as well. A few trees and/or other objects along it's banks, giving the viewer a greater clues as to it size and distance. Excellent start, love the view and the mood!!!! Great job but keep going!

A bridge, a small mountain range in the distance, a few trees (or the impression of trees) on the ground below, and a bird or tow in the sky. After that, you're done.
