Description

I couldn't believe my eyes when I went to the DAZ store the other day and saw my ole Rickenbacker bass in a set called "60s Band Equipment" by hypnagogia. So, I had to have it. It's grouped with a Danelectro guitar, keyboard, drum kit, mic and some Vox amps. It's a really nice detailed set. This "Flower Power" bassist couldn't resist the urge to pick it up and hammer out a few licks !!! Cover your ears because I think she has that amp's volume turned up to "11" . . . . . . . . . Bet you thought I was making that up! Here is a 16 year old GT at a gig in Trenton, Ohio in late 1964 with that 64 RIC. You'll have to imagine that FireGlow finish on the bass. But, it is identical to the render. The picture got cut off a little high or else you would be able to see the Beatle Boots I was wearing, too !!!! Just TOO hip ! ! ! ! !

Hey I didn't know you were a bassist too :D - I used to play too, before stopping when 3D finally took all my time ;) , was playing on a Warwick Thumb 5, different sound and feel, but another big sound like the Rick :)
