I am so sorry Steve, I did not know about your health problems until now. I've been away from the site taking care of other issues from work to taxes to lawyers. But I'm very glad to hear that things are getting better for you. I've never had an appendix problem but I have experienced the intense level of pain a problem in the abdomen (kidneys in my case) can create. I can relate.
Beautiful rendering as always. Very eerie and strange but with a kitty cat so what can be so bad?

perfect work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So Good to see you posting. I'm glad that modern medicine can still work a little magic now and then. Take it easy when you get home because we don't want any relapses.

Enchanting concept in this presentation as you recover from your harrowing appendectomy experience, Steve. Glad you're pulling through and that you had the wherewithal to post one of your famous renderings, even while in the hospital. I had my appendix, on the verge of rupturing, removed way back when I was ten years old, and many years prior to the advent of antibiotics.

So good to see you post, Steve. Your image has all your special touches, with spirits in the candles, that beautiful green light, the woman in the background (in the forest), your "abracadabra" woman shining with magic...and your usual humor. I love that you have an "emergency stash"! Just in case...Well this was certainly one of those times you needed one...
Yes, as I remember, the appendix isn't the most dangerous thing: It's the infection inside it. You just went through a heavy experience! How could you have imagined?
I hope you're able to go home soon. And I hope the pain goes away too, and you can be infection free! I'm sorry this happened, Steve---after so much other stuff you've been through. It's wonderful to see all these people pour out for you here: They really care about you here, and that's great to see. Get better soon Steve, I wish you all the healing in the world. And I wish you lots of rest too. Who would have thought---a mere week ago---that you'd go through this? I'm very grateful it turned out so well. Now I just hope for your healing, and for your comfort to return. All the best to you Steve. Godspeed be with you.

Wow, she looks beautiful. Love the cat with witch hat. LOL Great done, my dear friend. Yes, with appendicitis you should not joke. Although I went to the surgery early enough, unfortunately something went wrong and hospital germs were introduced into my abdominal cavity. In conclusion, I got a peritonitis, which nearly killed me. Well, it can work ... Luckily I survived it, otherwise you would not have met me and I lie six feet under since 1995 ...

Far better than the 1920's movie...super image. Glad to hear you're better.

I know the feeling ... went in with severe pains one dark morning - thinking it was bad indigestion or something simple. Turned out it was a perforated ulcer; just as well I went in to A&E when I did. Operated on that day. Back home within a week. Took a while to recover. And if your pain was as bad, all my best wishes for you - it can be most unpleasant!

Playing catch up. So sorry to read about you appendix. I had mine removed in 4th grade and it was painful indeed. Glad to hear everything went well and you are recovering. Luckily no side effects from losing the useless appendix. Nice to see you have the strength and resolve to still post some awesome art, even if has been waiting in the wings. Get better soon.
