Hi, I'm Andrea, and I'm interested in creatures and plants both wild and tamed, and people of all sorts. I only use a compact digital camera ,as I love being able to get it into a back pocket, and not have to cart heavy kit about. I carry a Panasonic Lumix TZ series, binoculars and a hand lens almost everywhere. Most of my outings are with the dogs so I only use point and shoot.
I am getting the hang of Photoshop, thanks to some very kind folk on RR!
I have a wildlife garden in Bournemouth, Dorset, in the UK, and spend a lot of time there . I retired from teaching art to teenagers a while ago.
I'm now getting some good results with my digi compacts; it took me a while to make the switch from my old film camera, an 1960 ish Pentax Spotmatic, but the mistakes are much cheaper!
I have 4 lodgers, 3 dogs and a parrot who, as at 2017, I have had 40 years.
I has so far had 19 dogs, mostly rescues.

Looks good. I'll have to look into acquiring some hot cross buns. Since I live in Southern California and its the law I put my bacon into breakfast burritos. A flower tortilla, some cheese, an egg and some salsa. And lots of bacon, of course. Bacon is just another one of those things that proves God wants us to be happy.

Looks good, but I could never eat bacon for breakfast. Easily for lunch though. Especially if the bun was homemade :) Which reminds me, I will bake such tomorrow morning with all different things in it.
moochagoo
I think that was good

I am quite possibly the only person in the world who hates bacon! However, I love to visit big cities and live near mountains, so between the two of us we have it covered. 😜 Enjoy!

as a vegan, this pic isn't good for me! I want to eat it right now! (I grew up on bacon, and I loved it; but having been vegan for years, I can't imagine what it'd do to my stomach if I ate this sandwich right now. My stomach would send me an emergency text: "WTF are you DOING to me???") This looks delicious. ANd I like that the bun looks whole grain, and you cut it in 3 rather than two. The flickr version---you postworked it to look far more analytic, and like a design. Fascinating, and even symmetrical. A great contrasting pair. But this---this is art to be eaten. Full size---esp on that beautiful ceramic dish---it's delectable. Man, you and helle post some difficult food images for me. I'd dip this in olive oil and cilantro, and eat chickpeas with it (complete protein, for vegetarians, is legumes and grain. Biochemically, they give the same quality protein as meat, fish or fowl.) Great image! It's food porn!)
