I've always liked the Beauty and the Beast idea... I'm planning on making a few images along those lines.

like you wrote in your comment to my last piece (for which, thank you so much!), you're exploring light and darkness in the same images. And even showing the humanity within beastliness. The woman here seems ok that she's sitting next to that gigantic skull: I mean, she's on the ground and maybe in distress (?)...but to me, she looks confident rather than distressed; like she's a warrior, and can handle anyone who comes along. And then (what the hell), with that gigantic dude to her side, she's got an ally. (To be honest? I wouldn't mind having that dude by my side: I'm not exactly a 'warrior'. Someone messes with me? I say, 'You wanna meet my friend???")
I love that huuuuuge skull. It's like a relic from an ancient civilization. And love the rocks: resin-y, like they have oil deposits in them. And that's quite an outfit on that dude: Ralph Lauren? Saks? (The Gap???) (Come on, he got those pants at The Gap, right? With a cumberbum? ((They originated in Persia, so it would fit perfectly for this exotic warrior.)) He's like the King in The King and I, only with horns.) This is delightful, barb, dark and yet delightful. And I love the vines going down the skull's side, and the spider web in his eye: great touches. Love what you're doing with this concept.
