Interesting, Our air force uses Alpha jets, for the moment there's a political row about the purchase of a successor for our ageing F-16 AM/BM. Do we proceed with buying F-35 or not? Lockheed/Martin shot in their foot by making a report that the F-16 could fly much longer than thought. They only forget that those planes, how great and good they may be, it's seventies technology and unfortunately our world is not yet a place where we could do without armed forces. Not even here in Europe, it's a sad truth.
