Hello !
My name is Helle. I live in Denmark on the Island, Zealand. I have a husband and two sons and three grandchildren, so I am a happy person.
I like many kinds of art and I try to limit myself, but I dont succeed very well. I love my PSP9 and I think I use it every day. I like to draw, paint and experiment on canvas or paper and I wish I had time do it every day. My biggest wish is, that there would be 48 hours instead of the poor 24 a day. I just dont think it will ever happen ;)
A fantastic new world opened for me, when I was Introduced to Renderosity for the first time. I am very grateful to be a part if this site.

Ohhhh ... delicious! I love hummus. Fortunately, there is a wonderful brand of pre-made (Sabra) in the grocery stores here, so we can have it any time we want. We took a container of hummus with pine nuts on our trip last week, and ate it with a couple of tasty apples. Nothing better! :) Thanks for this little snack break! :)

Something I have never eaten, but I will take your word for it and your great picture!

Humus you say. According to the dictionary, humus is the organic component of soil, formed by the decomposition of leaves and other plant material by soil microorganisms. Sounds yucky. But if you say it's healthy and tastes so wonderful, then that's good enough for me, Helle. Other than that, an outstanding capture and abstract of the meal. Happy that the weather is splendid and that you're getting a lot done.

Well yes, I should have spelled it with 2 M´s..

It does look yummy, Helle! A wonderful and appetizing treatment you've given it here. Sounds like you had a wonderful time!

lol, I see you corrected the spelling. Fact is, there's no "authoritative" spelling for Middle Eastern food: Falafel, Falafil, I've seen different spellings. And hummus too. (Baba ganoosh, baba ganou, it goes on.) But this stuff look like it's got all kinds of added goodies. So Amit adds some kind of tomato sauce? Maybe a spicy one? And pine nuts? Other nuts? Parsley...it looks wonderful. You serve it with pita? I'll be over next week...(At my age---69---if I eat more than a teaspoon of olive oil a day, I put on weight. Where's that at!!! Olive oil's GOOD for you, dammit, and now I have to exercise extra to burn it off. Needless to say, Hummus has lots of olive oil, so the whole thing sucks...I never had this problem before I hit my late 60s. I've told my digestive tract to "get with it," but it's just slowed down...)
Anyway, you made this into a symphony of diagonals, and the dish glows in the center. I see a "fanta"? right? And some other stuff. Looks like poster. Very colorful and very appetizing, helle, and chickpeas and grains are a complete protein---equal to meat. So if Amit eats those two, he's got full protein. (We vegans know these things!) Wonderful image. I'm hungry. Great you all have this cuisine in your lives...
(you wanna know another pain? awright pull up a chair. I've gone back to citrus, because---hear this---it's stopping my abscesses! How 'bout that! If I eat a whole grapefruit or lemon each day, my abscesses barely come in. I was thrilled!!! BUT! I found out that lots of citrus is bad for your TEETH! Dental people say you should be careful. Great! So now I rinse my mouth out after every grapefruit or lemon ((I eat whole lemons, either in a drink or plain---yes I eat them plain, I'm nuts)). I rinse my mouth with baking soda , which balances out the acid. A PAIN! A good thing leads to a bad...)
