Description
I used my Pallas Athena (Cyberpunk musician) as the basis for this. I tore up the original image (which I will, in the spirit of Elgar's Engima Variations, probably never reveal), scanned it, tore it up, and taped it back together then composited it atop a cutup made using the Text Mixing Desk http://www.lazaruscorporation.co.uk/cutup/text-mixing-desk . The text used is actually a portion of the Wikipedia article on Cut-Up. The title refers to a Japanese art-form where broken ceramics are reassembled with gold pigment used in the cracks.
