Description

This tree is growing on farmland on the Stour Valley Way. It appears to be very much like the cultivated variety Crataegus Rosea Flore Pleno - Midland Hawthorn Tree, but the flowers are single, and not double. See a real close-up Here

OH MY!! It is gorgeous. My EX-little tree, I had as a bird feeding tree, before a big storm made it tilt, was white, but oh how I loved it. It was the one I called my Humming tree, because all the bees came to it in May. The one you saw in my prevs upload is another kind of hawthorn and I am SO disappointed on it. :-( But, Under neeth, the old is coming up from a forgotten root ;-)
