Description

Here's Nara showing off another one of the ready to render scenes included with our new infinity floor expansion pack. A few people have asked how this works, and if you can use your own backgrounds. I have included ten backgrounds I made that look really nice with the reflections - but yes, you can use any background you want by adding it to the wall's base color channel. You don't need to do anything to the floor. There's actually no real floor texture involved. The floor reflects the background, and has the infinity effect built right into the floor so it blends with your chosen background. There are a few options to change the floor's reflection softness and infinity falloff patterns, so it's really simple to get lots of different effects. And here's the answer to a big question... NO, the promos don't use any gaussian blur or fancy Photoshop tricks to get the reflection to have that "progressive blur" effect. It's built into the floor's shader, so it renders that way. :-) Anything else - don't be afraid to ask. Thank you so much for all of your feedback and support. It means a lot. Great pinup, and that floor looks very nice indeed :) - It's not the background that would make me wonder, but the reaction to different lights setups, I remember struggling a LOT with reflective floors in 3Delight, before Iray was there :)
