Description
Captured very early in the am on 10/30/12 (Halloween?).
Sorry, I didn't have a anahata.c type Jagger's alley to digifiddle, so this was the closest.
The original on top, just for the record.

with streets like this, my friend, you don't need alleys. ("Alleys??? We don't need no stinking alleys...") A spectacular fog and end-of-the-world shot. Man, what a shot. The original is apocalyptic, esp as no one is out (well, it's very early, and that helps; but still, you picked just the right time). The hues are wonderfully bleak; it's in color, but very muted and bleached color. And that sun is like the sun after an atomic holocaust. Great shot. I'll take this over an alley anyday.
2 is filled with glowing edges, like the radiation has already penetrated everything. And the sun is beating down (like, at 400F). In 3, you've blackened the earth to where it's just a silhouette of trees and houses, and a sky out of Turner or some 20th C expressionist. Eerie and spooky. Great jaundiced colors---with a touch of Van Gogh in your 'strokes'. And 4 is even more bleached in feeling, like this is what it looked like after all life was finally eradicated. An old western town feel, with a sun that's got nothing left to give this planet. Great light and fog. These are terrific, Harry, a great bunch. My Jagger treatment doesn't come close to this.

Wonderful foggy photo, my friend - and the variation are great! I think the first variation is my favorite, but they're all very cool.
