Nice work! The clear crisp atmosphere is very good. The foliage to the right of the fence is absolutely superb. The texturing on the Mts. as well looks very real and I like the little cat coming down the road. However, the cones in the distance I must admit Im not to fond of and the grass on the left side of the fence IMHO needs to be thinner or smaller or something. This is just my attempt to assist in some positive observations. Keep up the great work. I really like this scene. :O)

Very nice scene, and the vegetation in the field to the left looks like a corn field in the spring. This might have been your intention. Corn that has been cut and the stobs left in the field looks just like that after enduring winter weathering.....but I agree with Shoop (rds) that it doesn't look like grass. I also agree that it is a very impressive scene. The perspective is great and the rutted road looks very "out in the country". There are actually a few roads like that in Tennessee....still. Very nostalgic and GREAT job!!!

Thank you all for your comments. The vegetation to the left of the fence was supposed to represent some type of crop (no specific type), but obviously this wasn't as clear as i'd hoped lol. Hopefully I'll be a bit more succesful next time

Excellent 'painting.' I think telling a 'story' helps. The old wagon says it's 'abandoned.' But the lighted windows, etc., don't. A bit more 'weathering' -- unless it was supposed to be years ago when the building was 'newer' then. Nice work.
