I'm pro-Life,as if one could be pro-Death? But I value human existence before birth but even more after a child is born.Fine commentary,Richard! Hope you are having a great Memorial Day weekend.

Unfortunately, this issue has not been corrected. I always have wondered why religious organizations haven't done their part in preventing abortions. Nor has the government in reality. Religious groups should have been finding families willing to adopt and the government should have established funding for adoptions to help people be able to afford adoption. The government is constantly taking away funding for the poor and it's the poor that often chooses abortion. It seems like the government is adding to the problem rather than doing much to eliminate it. It's a sad situation that could be fixed, but those most opposed to abortion are doing nothing to fix the problem.

I am pro-Choice. Leave the decision up to the woman and her doctor...keep the religious freaks and government (overwhelmingly male) out of the decision. (If men were able to give birth, abortion would be a sacrament.) How would the rabid pro-lifers like it if they were forced to have an abortion? Not too much. Abortion has been around since the beginning of human existence...it is not going away, so it must be kept safe. Also, birth control should be readily available and affordable.
