Description
Locronan (Lokorn in Breton) is a commune of the department of Finistère, in the region Brittany, France.
The important architectural heritage of Locronan, preserved very early, allowed the village to be a member of the network of small cities of character. Locronan is also today awarded the label of the most beautiful villages of France, awarded by an independent association aiming to promote the tourist assets of small French communes rich in a quality heritage. Around the church, the roofs of the village are works of art. From its belle époque, the village has kept a paved central square decorated with a well, the vast Saint-Ronan church, Renaissance granite houses.
