Description

Anyone who still does not believe in global warming when looking at these pictures, is beyond help. I've been living in Wuppertal, Germany for 68 years, but we have not experienced anything like this afternoon. Within an hour 60-80 L of rain per square meter.

Impressive images! Here in France, there were thunderstorms every day in May, and they were sometimes violent too ... Effects of global warming... it's now!

This is a terrible flood. Hope you came out of it OK. I agree with you that if someone does not understand and accept what is going on with Earth's climate, they are being willfully ignorant. Human beings really don't deserve the Earth--they are making a "heaven" into a virtual "hell."

It is the same in the Netherlands and more to come. Hope the crop will hold, because also the fields can't have this much water. After the soil was to dry it can't take enough water. People themselves are also a course of this, because gardens disappear and make place for bricks, it makes it in towns impossible to deal with so much water. Some people just had cleaned their cellar and had to do it today again. A lot of glass houses for flowers and vegetables are hit by hailstones as big as tennis balls. The coming days there is more to expect.

Looks like what happened in a Town in Maryland, USA recently. Mother nature sure does appear to be angry. Hope you are dry and safe.

OMG that's terrible! Unfortunately since many governments have been a major cause of Global Warming due to all the nuclear tests they did in our atmosphere (which drastically thinned the Ozone layer), they continue to deny that Global Warming is real. They don't want to take responsibility for the damage they created. We need to put pressure on the leaders of all countries (especially those in the US) to try and slow the damage before the world is flooded and millions of people die...

An excellent warning about what we face. Flooding is becoming alarmingly common, even in places not previously known to suffer from it.

This is unbelievable! Nature unleashed this terrible torrent of water upon your city. Just the financial damage alone will reach into the millions. On the opposite side of the planet, we get little or no rain ever, here in Southern California, USA.

There are changes in the weather for sure, where I live we see insects and animals we would never imagine to see anyday Oo, because temperatures are slightly higher than they used to be. I hope you were not affected like in the photos btw :)

Looks like a terrible mess - that is a lot of rain all at once! Flood cleanup and repair is a huge pain - hope your city is able to recover quickly.

Wow this is a excellent warning of global warming indeed.

The loss of homes and destruction is a common thing due to this distaster all over the world.

Keep safe my friend.
