In full view, your heavy black areas open up to reveal large lit areas behind and around them. "Space station" does come to mind (Harry/goodoleboy), and it's definitely some interior of something. Some of your images have a highly metallic/glassy sheen, and you have lots of such surfaces here. Some of the bluer areas seem like large work chambers with overhead fixtures and windows, etc. And there seem to be gigantic turbines all over. You get an amazing sense of gravity-less-ness, despite very heavy forms. And the breakdown into so many 'glass shards' makes it appear like an optical illusion is at its heart. Those two huge protrusions---the coil-like things, which look like the tails to huge prehistoric insects---are stunning. The pic's got an amazing pov---looking in, from the side, and from floating in space---with a lot of intensity. Another terrific abstract from you, Steve.
