I am BACK!
After a few years on hiatus from the Poser-verse, I am BACK! Currently enjoying Poser Pro 11 and testing out what it can do compared to its predecessors.
Sorry, my computer refuses to run DS 4.x so although I have nothing against that program as such, it's just not an option to me. Not that I mind much, I know Poser and why start at square one with a new program?
But that makes me a Poser User™ - so whatever I make is for Poser. I think most of the props will work in DS, but I have no way of testing it. Downloader Beware ;)
Other than that, I am some 50+ years old (not giving the exact amount isn't because of vanity but it saves me from remembering to update this every time another year has passed)
Mother of two, now adult kids.
Married to a very patient man
Obsessed with Alan Rickman
Even more obsessed with Severus Snape
NEW: Now also obsessed with Tim Roth - and his alter ego Cal Lightman from the TV series Lie To Me
Whovian
Occasionally a Star Trek geek (on the low burner at the moment)
japanophile
Plays Pokemon Go every day! HAH!
Working as a train conductor.
Probably a pervert, depending on who you ask
Never TOO serious ;o)

The ban is for a VERY practical reason- it's too easy to hide a male terrorist, armed with a suicide vest underneath it! Security Guards are way more relunctannt to pat down a woman than they would be to a man.

There's that. But the prohibition is SOLELY against burqas. Not niqabs or any other "flowing" garments. Also it is the whole notion of countering percieved forced wearing of a burqa - with a forved removal of said garment. Claiming to "protect" the women. Now, IF those women are really forced by some medieval minded husband to wear a burqa .. what are the chances she is even allowed out of the house without it, now? This has never "officially" been about terror. It's all just to "protect" those women (and estimates say there is less than 200 burkas in Denmark) What's next? What will be the next thing forbidden to wear ... to "help" people?
It's a slippery slope. Ending somewhere in North Korea or Afghanistan.

Good job! There have always been complaints when artists go political, but I think that's because an artist can make a lasting impression more easily than a political speech can. I'm sorry to see that Denmark has turned to the Trump side of the Force . . .

I agree that you have your human and religious rights, but if they are out of control a country should take this measurements. I only think it is again putting oil on water and does in no way say something on Trump. In the Netherlands we agreed to have muslima with a veil. The discussion came up when a police woman showed it next to her motorcycle. Please look inside your country how many muslims there are, who have good intentions. I work with many people who are muslim and never would not see them as my friends. They also want to be a part of the community and some already banned their burka. I wonder why we accept the head veil of human rights winner of peace Malala Yousafzai and can't do it with our neighbours. If we show respect they also will. Your work shows the anger we show about something that is unknown and war did no good to this situation. We are all children of the world, that often are jealous about what some of them achieved. Closing with the words… Give peace a chance

I usual avoid politics in my art but I like what you did here. You presented your image and explained the meaning behind it. So many laws are made to "protect" people but it does seems infringe upon the religions, traditions and rights of others.
