This feels like a very abstract version of the cubist works by picasso. Like you took them and chopped them up even more, and got this ultra-ultra cubist fare. Terrific contrasts with the blacks and deep yellows and oranges and greens. It could even pass for (get this!) a very abstract version of a Breughel (from the Renaissance), gone wild and abstract. There's a wild dancing country-fair feeling about it (which Breughel got). Your shapes here are very individual and expressive. You know your way around forms, Steve, that's for sure. I love this.
