Description

A prairie scene inside the dead quiet before a storm, when time stops and the skies turn an ominous yet beautiful colour, washing everything with the same hue. It took a long time to get this render just the way I wanted. I was aiming to recreate a moment in an impossibly hot and dry prairie field, basking in that moment of doldrums with no wind or sound just before a coming storm, like in a dream. I don't think we see enough of these quieter, slice-of-life renders. Not everything has to be sci-fi. You paid close attention to detail and created an image that is photographic but also poetic in it's own way. This is my favorite piece of artwork today. Thank you for sharing it!!
