These guys/gals are fearless. Definitely one of my favorite insects.

Dragonflies and Damselflies are my most favorite of all insects. The are such aerial acrobats, and seem curious about us as they land on the side of the canoe or flit overhead. Terrific shot you got here.

I used to love watching these lil fellers when I was younger. Dont see them often enough though. :( I once caught one that was kind of metalic bluish colour. he had flown into the house and couldnt get out, kept banging himself into hte wall :( I tried to help him get out, but I ended up hurting him instead. I felt so horrible I cried for the extent of the day, and my mom bribed me with chocolate icecream to get me to smile, but only after I made her help me bury him in grammas garden. ahhhhhhh to be 8 again :)
