This lovely tree grows in tiers, hence the English name. It is a Cornus contraversa variegata I used Topaz Filter 'Finger Painting' See it withou Here

It looks fantastic against the blue sky...Who said blue and green doesnt go together??
They always said that, when I was a child. "You cannot put blue and green together".... TSK! of course you can.

The original is nice, but this is superb!

It's hard to think they told Helle blue and green didn't go together. How very odd! I had no such proscription, but pink and orange were NOT to be seen together. Also, my green/white/blue flowered top (which went with blue shorts) and my green/blue/white striped pants (which went with a white top), although they looked fabulous together to MY eye, being all the same colors, was also prohibited. My mother wouldn't let me out of the house wearing the stripes and flowers together.
