Description

Had a nice day out with the girls, bit sad as it was the first day out without Miss meadow. Walking on the common at Beverley near the racecourse we came across this stone commemorating the Coronation of the Queen in 1953. Why it was in the middle of the common is a mystery!!!! Thanks for all the lovely comments & favs, so, so appreciated. x

This is an interesting find--perhaps a celebratory statement of support for the Queen and reaffirmation the "realm." Just a guess.

The girls are looking good. How's Jasmine's eye doing?

Interesting. It doesn't look like anyone thinks it's very special.

I read the first post and was... what did I miss? I went back through your gallery looking for what my brain must have glossed over, probably because I didn't want to see it. I see it now though, I'm so sorry. Now I'm sad.
