My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

The info is most interesting too, and the plant is very similar to our Rosa rugosa, see Here

This is so lovely, Tara! As usual, you've taken an already lovely subject and lifted it to the next level. A lovely dedication for Andrea!
Happy Birthday, Andrea!

You and Andrea and Helle sure know how to use these filters. You, for one, are so passionate with them---this thing undulates and sings operatically, I love the swirls in the background, and the almost life-like swirls in the flower (great light and shade in a wholly filtered flower). The stamens look like a flame! The stem breaks through the greens like it has to cut its way through a sensual mire. This is gorgeous postwork, and perfect for Andrea, who gives us flower after flower, all with great beauty. Happy birthday, Andrea, and many more!!! And terrific dedi, Tara!
