Created and first posted in 2005.
The female ETs, thinking the computer is a sentient being, cannot make contact.
As far as design and technology are concerned, computers have come a long way since then, i.e., laptops, ipads, desktop models, etc.

yeah this is 2005, so computers were still big CRT-bound heavy lugging things, with big boxes sitting on tables, or under tables. And this thing looks like it landed on a green planet with peach hued skies (earthling artifact on someone else's turf), and the creatures---all female, by our biological standards---can't figure out what in the world that thing is. Very funny, Harry, and very well done. Another deft piece of play. And the ship in the background is floating in air. (When you first posted it, on tuesday---it's wednesday now, in chicago---I thought that woman was carrying it!)
