- Can't you see I'm busy? I don't have time to fight adventurers at the moment.
- But that's what dragons do! We crossed the Absolute Desert and the Enchanted Forest to find you!
- Well you know why I'm hiding behind an uncrossable desert and an enchanted forest? So that people like you leave me alone. Now go back and find someone else. I don't have time for you. I still need to finish this paper and send it to the reviewer, I have three projects going on simultaneously in which I'm the supervisor and I have a meeting today. You think running a science group is easy? I wish I had ten heads, then maybe I could manage to fight you somewhere in between.
- But...
- No buts. Unless you look for a Master project or a Bachelor project, leave me alone. If you're very smart I might consider taking you for a PhD position, but simply looking at you gives me the impression it's not going to happen...

Very cute... In all my (far too many) years of playing RPGs I always scoffed at the adventurers about running off and slaying some legendary beast that no one has seen in years... If it's not bothering anybody, leave it alone!
