Hey! My name is Beth...I'm 19...I finished studying my a levels at Worcester sixth form college last year. I studied City and Guilds photography, AS Photography, AS Jewellery, and A Level Graphic design. I'm currently living in Northern Ireland...and trying to figure out what i want to do with myself! Nice photo, I love the colors on the water, and the sail boats with there reflections. But for some reason the nice new boat on the left throws me off. maybe look at cropping from the right side of that boat to the white boat on the right. Just my view though, Nice work.

Very soft camera work with lovely colors...I don't agree with Derick about the position of the boats in the picture...To leave a space in the composition means a lot sometimes...The space at the right makes me do an interpretation of boats ready to run away, but if it would be on the left it would remind me the end of their travel, and in that case the composition would also be very tight at the right of the picture. To let them position in the center is a very classic one and I may totally exclude this kind of composition too...In summary, in my opinion, this photo has a very good composition, but I also want to add that it's a little bit overexposed...Since your camera measures the overall light, the sky did appear very bright, maybe you could have closed the diaphragm just one stop to get a better result (oops, I did not ask if your camera is a full automatic digital one)...Very nice picture anyway...
