My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

So well thought out, with such a warm atmosphere, plus colors. And if you Brigitte will meet you there, dear Tara, I'm going to be there too. (if it's allowed?) The illuminated window is a beautiful symbol, just wonderful for our friend.

Ditto Jacomina, a beautiful dedi for Brigitte, and I too will meet you there. The illuminated window (as Jacomina calls it) is luminous and glowing, and I adore the detail and sharpness and lines of your image. And how the looming walls shoot up from the cafe, like a place of worship. I love what you wrote, and I second it and send it all to Brigitte. Happy Birthday Brigitte, and lots of love and healing! A beautiful dedi, Tara, in word and image...

Perfect neo-classical architecture !

Perfect photo for the occasion...birthday meet-up and a relaxing conversation. The architecture of these early 1900s railroad stations is so worth the cost of preservation. Marvelous. And Happy Birthday Brigitte.

This looks to me like a difficult exposure but you pulled it off. Great architecture and composition.

I've actually had a cuppa coffee on that balcony - many years ago when my Dad and I spent a wonderful day together, just wandering around KC, taking photos, and having a great father-son "guy day." Brings back some good memories.
A wonderful photo and dedication, Tara!

Sooo much water has passed under the bridge, since this - your dedication - my dear friend Tara for me and so many kind words from all your/our mutual friends here at Renderosity, also with such caring words from all of you, a big THANK YOU... I realise, that this arriving late ! but is it too late to give a warm thank you ? 🌹 I don't think so, some of you may have given up on me, or have left for other personal reasons - we may never know - and then there are the basic core of friends, who will always be around; and that my friends is, which will always be in my memory, of the good and the sad times we are sharing here together… It makes me feel so warm and fuzzy, to know, that someone else cares, in a "faraway Renderosity sort-of-a-place", of love & peace, and so do I.🤗
A special THANK YOU dear Tara, for this selected and amazing photograph - just for me - it makes so much sense and let's hope, that we can do all this and much more whiling away some precious hours and sharing it in your part of the world, rather sooner, than later !
"Kansas City here I come !!!" 🤓 A wonderful thought, and a photo with your vision, of what I would love to share with you as well. I interpret it, as what I think, will be a great way to spend some quality time with you, you being a good hostess, genuinely interested and so caring. Can you ever forgive me, running so late with my 🙏 [seriously I am embarrassed, to admit it] So, let's do coffee ☕☕ and... cake 🍰🍰
